Perfect to keep on-hand for when you need a tasty collagen boost.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of traditional oats
- 1/2 cup of dates
- 1 cup of lemon and ginger tea
- 1 organic lemon
- 2 tbsps of hemp seeds
- 3 tbsps of ground flaxseed
- 1/3 cup of coconut oil
- 2 tbsps of Bare Biology's Skinful Marine Collagen Powder
- Pinch of Himalayan salt or sea salt
Method

Lightly toast the oats for 20-30 minutes on 165 degrees (give them a shake half way through)

Use a peeler to remove the skin from the lemon and juice

Soak the dates in 1 cup of the lemon and ginger tea and the juice of

1/2 lemon for 1-2 hours

In a food processor mix the oats, marinated dates and remaining ingredients until it forms a sticky mixture

Grease a bread tin with coconut oil

Put the mixture into the tin and press flat

Put in the fridge for 4 hours to cool and set

Once set, slice into bars and enjoy!
