You've recently launched your own skincare platform. What can people expect?
Every member that signs up to my TWM platform will have access to a library of 35+ videos for different skin concerns. Whether you are looking to improve tone and elasticity, reduce puffiness and water retention, or perhaps you want to sculpt and contour the face, there is something to suit everyone. I also host masterclass sessions.
You can also enjoy short movement classes to help you improve your posture and nutritious recipes to support good skin health.
What do you love best about working with your clients?
I love seeing the results! Clients come to me for a reason and I find it so rewarding when we achieve what they came for. I enjoy using a variety of techniques, electrical modalities and different skincare solutions to really customise every session that I deliver.
Why do you recommend regular facials?
It’s your monthly check-in with a skincare professional to address any concerns. The skin cells that make up our epidermis regenerate around every 28 days so it’s a good idea to treat your skin to a facial once a month. A good skincare professional can also make sure that you’re using the correct home care products for your skin type to achieve the best results.
What's one thing everyone should be doing for good skin?
I can’t name one! My four absolute musts:- Always double-cleanse!
- Wear SPF.
- Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Less sugar, more greens.
- Have regular facials and use a Gua Sha at home.
What are your go-to products for your skin?
Supplements! Omega-3 is essential for good skin. My go-to are the Life & Soul Omega 3 fish oil from Bare Biology and I absolutely cannot live without the Skinful Marine Collagen Powder + Vitamin C to boost collagen production from within. I add to my smoothie or sprinkle over my granola everyday!
I also highly recommend using a Vitamin C serum under your moisturiser.
If you could have a chat with Taryn from 10 years ago, what advice would you give her?
I would probably have told Taryn 10 years ago to wear more SPF! We feel invincible in our 20’s but prevention is key! Start taking care of your skin from an early age, have regular facials, use your Gua Sha, take your supplements and reap the rewards later.
